PLASTIMAGEN MEXICO, established in 1993 with the support of the Mexican Plastics Industry Association (ANIPAC) and co-organized by Messe Düsseldorf and its Mexican subsidiary, is one of the longest-running plastic industry trade shows in Latin America and the largest in Central America. It aims to foster technological exchange, business collaboration, and innovation in Mexico and across Latin America’s plastics sector.
PLASTIMAGEN MEXICO 2025 was held as scheduled from March 11–14 at Center Citibanamex in Mexico City. Spanning 400,000 square meters across five main halls (A–E), the event hosted over 1,000 exhibitors from 30+ countries, including Mexico, Latin America, China, the U.S., Germany, Italy, and Japan. It attracted 35,000+ professional visitors, primarily from Mexico, Central and South America, with a smaller presence from North America and Europe. Key exhibition areas included plastic machinery, raw materials, molds, automation, packaging, and plastic recycling machinery, with highlights in innovative materials, smart manufacturing, green technology, and end-use applications.
KiTech Machinery, a China-based manufacturer of mid-to-high-end plastic recycling machinery, leverages European technology to deliver automated, intelligent, and cost-effective solutions. Compliant with CE, UL, and CSA standards, KiTech has served 260+ clients across 55 countries. Its flagship products include plastic washing systems, cutter compacting pelletizing systems, self-cleaning laser filter systems, and shredding/crushing systems for pre-processing.
Mexico’s strategic location, population, and thriving plastics manufacturing sector offer significant market potential. Growing emphasis on sustainability and circular economy practices has driven local manufacturers to adopt plastic recycling solutions, balancing cost reduction with environmental benefits.
As a key market for KiTech, Mexico has seen the company’s consistent participation in PLASTIMAGEN. At the 2025 show (Booth 3630, 18m² in Hall A’s China Pavilion), KiTech showcased its full-range plastic recycling solutions, displaying raw materials, processed samples (PP crushed material, shredded PP woven/non-woven bags, LDPE/LLDPE film pellets, HDPE IBC drum pellets, PP pellets, and PET pellets,etc), and laser filter screens to demonstrate precision and quality.
The event drew both old customers, who shared positive feedback on KiTech’s equipment, and new prospects interested in tailored plastic recycling solutions. Post-show, KiTech’s sales team conducted follow-up visits to deepen understanding of client needs and provide customized advice. These visits are routine task for KiTech. By revisiting existing customers, KiTech can gain a deeper understanding of any issues encountered during the use of its recycling equipment, learn from customers' experience, strengthen customer relationships, optimize product technology and quality, and provide better after-sales service. Visiting new customers helps to gain a detailed understanding of their material characteristics, factory scale, production environment, and recycling pain points, allowing KiTech more time to introduce its plastic recycling solutions and help customers find the most suitable options.
On the first day of post-show visits, KiTech secured an order for a 300 kg/h LDPE film cutter compacting pelletizing systemwith pre-crusher from a client who is dedicated in manufacturer of agricultural drip irrigation products and using recycled LDPE pellets as raw material. The customer got to know KiTech since 2021 via online channels and exhibitions, and the the automation and intelligence of KiTech's cutter compacting pelletizing system, high-quality manufacturing, and professional service were the reasons for him to cooperate with after comparing various options. By investing in in-house recycling, the client aims to cut production costs due to the rising demand for recycled pellets. Detailed technical discussions during the post-exhibition visited led to an on-site contract signing.
